On August 8 we will be hosting our 7th Annual James Hollrah Memorial Golf Tournament and would appreciate your support. There are many ways you can help. Please consider sponsoring a team, a hole, or providing a silent auction item.
Some of the activities we were able to fund include:
- An educational newsletter printed and mailed four times a year
- A local educational conference with national speakers
- Several networking opportunities for individuals and families to get together and learn from each other
- Funding to send several people to national educational conferences
- Educational information published in various levels of comprehension and in different languages for use by the medical community and the public
- Funding to provide children and siblings an opportunity to attend hemophilia camp where a “normal” camping experience is offered with the safety of trained staff. When attending camp, children with a bleeding disorder learn about the disorder and have the opportunity to learn how to infuse the clotting medication into their own veins.
