2010 Family Weekend
NEBRASKA CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION
2010 FAMILY WEEKEND EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE
333 S 13th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska
May 25 Registration Deadline to assure hotel space
We will have a full agenda: "Traveling with a Bleeding Disorder", "What's the Difference Between Hemophilia and Von Willebrand Disease?", "Bleeding Disorders and Relationships --Working Together to Make it Better" and "Healthcare Reform -- What the Heck Does That Mean for Me?", and with the popularity and need for the Infusion session last year the Chapter has decided to provide that opportunity again. Sign up for the Infusion session on the registration sheet so we will have all the supplies needed to facilitate everyone that is interested. The youth, school age children, and pre-school children will have their own programs with childcare provided for infants. There will be a "Fun for Everyone" activity on Friday evening at the Hotel!
Being with others who are dealing with the same condition and having the time to talk to each other is also part of our Conference. Sometimes what you learn from another participant is as important as what you learn from an educational session.
If you are a first time attendee of our conference the Chapter will waive all fees. Just send in your registration with that item checked.
The Companies who have sponsored booth space have made a commitment of time and money to our Chapter to attend this conference. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore what each provides as consumer educational materials, programs and services. Use this time to become informed regarding the choices available to you.
Our Chapter does not share any of our registration information.
A raffle drawing will be part of the Family Weekend event. If you have an item you want to donate for the raffle, please bring it along. The funds raised from the raffle will be will used to support our various scholarship opportunities. Remember, any contribution made to the Nebraska Chapter of the NHF can be claimed in your deductions if you itemize contributions for your annual taxes.
